The development of visual communication skills to convey an experience

By the end of a series of exercises, 3 buildings were designed to coexist on the same site. An art gallery, an events hall and an artist's residence. Some of the key concepts tying the designs together were the heaviness of the concrete used, the contrastingly light insides, the potential shared open space and small pops of colour. The following drawings were all done by hand while developing these ideas.
